💡 On July 8, the Academy of Thinking will host a training session by psychologist Nini Elbakidze on the topic: “Self-Care and Professional Burnout.”
👉 It is often difficult to distinguish between dedication to work and professional burnout. We may notice various signs of work-related stress in ourselves or others. For example, a person who was once compassionate and supportive may suddenly become emotionally distant and struggle to provide support to those around them.
The symptoms of professional stress can take many forms. In the early stages, they may appear as excessive enthusiasm for work, a strong desire for achievement and recognition, relentless productivity, and an inability to recognize one's own fatigue. Later, symptoms may include irritability, loss of humor, cynicism, neglect of personal needs, and severe exhaustion by the end of the day.
During the lecture, we will explore the boundary between professional growth and burnout. We will discuss the signs of work-related stress, its early symptoms, and the ways it can affect emotional well-being, relationships, and work motivation.
🍰 A light buffet and a welcoming atmosphere will be provided.
⏳ Duration of the session: 2–3 hours.
