A training session by Marina Kacharava titled “Motivation and Discipline” will take place at the Academy of Thinking.
Many people are familiar with the state where goals exist and desire is present, yet action is postponed, motivation fades quickly, and discipline fails to hold in everyday life. Inner conflict, self-criticism, and the feeling of “I should act, but I can’t start” appear. This condition is often not laziness, but the result of overlooking the psychological mechanisms behind motivation and behavior.
During the training, we will explore the core theories of motivation psychology and how motivation functions as both a source of energy and a guiding force. We will then focus on discipline as a habit and a system that helps maintain and implement motivation.
The session will be held in a practical training format, combining short psycho-educational blocks with self-reflective exercises. Participants will work with their own examples and analyze personal habits.
Topics include:
key theories of motivation and their practical relevance;
discipline as a habit and a system;
inner resistance and self-sabotage: what holds us back from action;
the power of small actions and taking responsibility in daily life.
This training is designed for:
people who frequently lose motivation;
professionals and managers who struggle with starting and sustaining processes;
those seeking more stable, less emotionally dependent action;
anyone interested.
A light buffet and a pleasant atmosphere will be provided.
Duration: 2–3 hours.
