The Academy of Thinking will host salon-style discussions with Oliko Nakashidze, a psychotherapist at Integra — the Mental Health Center of the Academy of Thinking.
This lecture is designed to help parents understand and support their children during adolescence, a period marked by heightened stress and anxiety. We will explore the processes taking place in the brain: you will learn why teenagers’ emotional reactions can be so intense and gain insight into how the defense system becomes activated during anxiety and stress. By the end of the lecture, you will acquire practical tools to help reduce the limiting effects of anxiety and support them in pursuing their goals despite fear.
The event will include a light buffet and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Duration of the meeting — 2–3 hours.
