“I Am a Little Georgian” is the title of the play directed by guest director Nika Luarsabishvili. The production is based on Georgian folk tales and myths, featuring numerous examples of classical Georgian poetry and vivid artistic characters. Among them is the scholar Shota (Shota Rustaveli), and one of the scenes is inspired by Ilia Chavchavadze’s poem “Bazaleti Lake.”
The audience will also meet familiar characters from the beloved cartoon “Kombla.”
The musical arrangement deserves special mention — it is built on traditional Georgian folklore and classical melodies, forming the central theme of the performance.
The play inspires patriotism in young audiences, nurturing love for their homeland, respect for its difficult past, and faith in a bright future.
