As part of the lecture series “Personal Development and Quality of Life”, the Academy of Thinking will host a salon-style talk with neuroscientist and creator of the YouTube channel Spin — Nutsa Koguashvili.
Topics of discussion:
What kind of problems arise in our psyche when emotions are left unattended;
How the brain and body process emotions;
The role of emotional hygiene in happiness and quality of life;
Which simple, daily habits can help create and strengthen positive emotions.
The meeting will be based on modern neuroscience research, showing how the brain and body generate emotions. It will explore how emotional regulation impacts mental well-being and why studying emotional hygiene is essential.
Participants will gain knowledge on how to integrate evidence-based habits into everyday life to increase positive emotions and reduce the negative effects of stress.
During the lecture, you will learn both theoretical insights and practical recommendations, and you’ll have the chance to ask questions on the subject.
