Academy of Thinking invites you to join its World Literature Course.
In order for an individual to understand themselves and their life, they must be able to question the world. The reflex of questioning is awakened by forms of art that reflect life and the inner world of a person. Literature is the art form that restores the individual’s capacity for self-reflection and supports the understanding of both the world and oneself.
The Academy of Thinking’s World Literature Course covers masterpieces of world literature across different times and cultures — from the ancient world to modernist and postmodern texts.
Throughout the course, participants will explore major literary works together with lecturers, engage in in-depth analysis, and examine the historical, sociological, and political contexts that shaped each author’s style, genre, artistic value, and creative character.
