The Power of Seeing.

Do we want to stay in the dichotomy of good and bad, nice and not nice or can we get curious enough to go around, between, in and over all that we think that is true? 

So we can start to see what is behind all that we think we know.

Most of the time we classify our feelings as good or bad, nice or not nice but what if we start observing them with curiousity. 

Detaching ourselves from “the norm” and our own convictions
A dance with possibilties and the mystery will arise and bring us the freedom and space we need to be ourselves. Alive, curious, playful and flexible even in our darkest moments.

About Jup
Jup Jansonius ~ 5Rhythms Waves / Heartbeat / GSB Teacher ~ combines her experience in dance, art, and theatre with social sciences and humor. Her ability to shapeshift and her unapologetic authenticity create a safe playground to explore the less highlighted parts of yourself.

What is 5Rhythms® Dance Practice:
The 5Rhythms® is a dance practice developed by Gabrielle Roth® in the early 70's in the USA. The 'movement map' takes the dancer through 5 dynamic rhythms: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. Like all improvising practices it welcome every body. All ages, sizes & physical abilities are welcome. There are no steps to follow, no choreography to learn, no way to do it wrong. The only requirement is a body that is still breathing, a heart that is still beating, and mind that is still curious! Just like light, sound or ocean waves, a dancing body when moving freely passes through rhythmic patterns. These patterns continuously repeat themselves in a wave of motion. This is a place for freedom of creative enquiry and expression through the repetition of a dance practice.

Full Price: 220 €
Early Bird: 170 € (if paid before March 10th 2026)

For 5Rhythms® teachers: 120 €
Payments can only be made in Euros.

Prerequisites: recommended to have
participated in 5Rhythms® Class with a 5RTA accredited teacher.
This workshop counts as 2.5 days of Heartbeat towards the 5Rhythms® Teacher Training.
The workshop will be held in English.
