On July 11–12, the Wine Club presents a professional training course titled "Wine Pairing with the Five Basic Tastes,"led by sommelier Magda Surguladze.
The course is designed for both wine enthusiasts and industry professionals.
During the training, participants will explore:
🍷 The fundamental principles of wine and food pairing
🍷 The five basic tastes
🍷 The key components of wine flavor
🍷 Essential aspects of food and wine pairing
🍷 How ingredients influence the character of a dish
🍷 Pairing traditional Georgian qvevri wines with food
🍷 And many other practical topics.
Participants will also taste several wine styles paired with carefully selected foods and complete hands-on pairing exercises.

💰 Participation Fee: 300 GEL
The course fee includes:
• the training manual "Wine Pairing with the Five Basic Tastes" by Magda Surguladze;
• wine and food tasting samples;
• assessment tests;
• certificate of completion;
• all training materials;
• light lunch on both days.
🎓 Certificates will be awarded only to participants who successfully pass both the theoretical and practical examinations at the end of the course.
