This touching story follows little Keto, who is kidnapped during a raid by the Lezgins and sold to a childless family in Dagestan. As the years pass, she forgets her past, her native language, and her Georgian roots, growing up as part of a new family and culture.
Many years later, her father finally finds her and brings her back home. But Keto no longer recognizes her parents or remembers her childhood. As hope begins to fade, her mother sings the lullaby she used to sing when Keto was a little girl.
The familiar melody awakens long-forgotten memories, bringing Keto's past back to life. It is a moving story about the enduring power of a mother's love, the strength of memory, and the unbreakable bond between a person and their homeland.
From January 14, 2016, the creative process of the Batumi Puppet and Youth Theater continues in the reconstructed building. The historical building with its one floor and summer space has been granted the status of a cultural heritage monument.
