We’re going to the Wine Festival
TSKALTUBO
The natural wine festival Amerimer will take place this year on December 6.
Only winemakers who are members of the Natural Wine Association participate in the festival. The Association unites winegrowers who produce wine from grapes grown in organic vineyards, in accordance with the traditions and principles of natural winemaking.
This means that vineyards are treated only with contact preparations — in limited doses — without any herbicides or synthetic mineral fertilizers produced by chemical methods. During fermentation, storage and aging, the use of selected yeasts, enzymes, flavorings, taste regulators, acids, pekmez, or any industrial additives is strictly prohibited.
In addition to wine enthusiasts, Amerimer is traditionally visited by exporters, restaurateurs, wine experts, and journalists.
This year the festival will once again be held on December 6 in the city of Tskaltubo, at the Legends Tskaltubo Spa Resort.
The port city and Black Sea resort of Batumi is the capital of the Georgian Republic of Adjara. The Batumi Boulevard runs along the seafront, a park, and a beach. The 130-meter-high Alphabet Tower, featuring inscriptions in the Georgian script, houses an observation deck with stunning sea views. In the Old Town, you can see many reconstructed 19th-century buildings. In the northern part of Batumi lies the botanical garden, home to plants from around the world.
