The play depicts the meeting of two 80-year-old friends — a Georgian and an Abkhaz — in Sokhumi. After many years of separation, their dialogue becomes, in essence, a conversation between two communities divided by armed conflict. They recall the years they lived, their youth, and life before the conflict. They share meaningful stories from the past, speak about the peaceful future of the next generations, discuss various issues, and more.
Throughout the performance, both fragments of the past and episodes from the present are interwoven.
The play incorporates excerpts from works by Guram Odisharia.
The main objective of the production is to restore and strengthen the ties between Georgians and Abkhazians that were severed as a result of the armed conflict.
