Listening to the premiere album of virtuoso French accordionist Vincent Peirani, Living Being IV: Time Reflections, one is immediately struck by its wide dynamic range, the balance of intimacy and extroversion in every detail, and the rich textures and arrangements that create captivating and unexpected moments.
Today, these five virtuoso French musicians explore a wide musical spectrum through jazz — from baroque music to “teenage pop”, from Balkan traditions to African sounds. With their storytelling ability, sense of dramaturgy, and mastery of dynamics, each concert becomes a true celebration of excellence.
Vincent Peirani’s intellectual musical palette is a delight to the ear, with especially beautiful lyrical passages and romantic sections.
The Soso Lagidze International Art Festival “Tbilisi Rhythm” is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, Creative Georgia, and Tbilisi City Hall.
