Description

Day 1 — Introduction to Glass & Creating the First Pendant 

 

● Introduction to the material; 

● What is “fusing”; 

● Types of glass; 

● How to use a microwave kiln and where to purchase one; 

● Practice in cutting glass; 

● Creating the first glass pendant. 

 

Day 2 

 

● Creating sketches for a jewelry set; 

● Choosing shapes and color palettes; 

● Cutting glass and assembling a matching set: pendant, earrings, and ring in one style.

 

Throughout the workshop, participants will receive all the essential knowledge needed to independently create colorful glass jewelry in the future with a small investment if desired. 

 

After the workshop, the pieces will be fired in a special fusing kiln, assembled, and within a few days participants will receive their finished creations. 

 

Additional Information 

● Jewelry fittings are standard materials (participants may later recreate them using silver if desired);

About the Instructor

 

Mariam Markarovi is the founder of the artistic glass studio “Pavone,” as well as an artist and glass designer. 

 

She has been working in the field of artistic glass for over 15 years. She graduated from the Academy of Arts and has completed multiple professional courses abroad. 

 

Artistic glass is a fascinating and contemporary art form that allows people to express their emotions, vision, and individuality in a unique way. 

 

At the studio, unique handmade colorful glass artworks are created. Whether it is a small pendant or a large stained-glass panel, every detail is cut, assembled, and processed by hand, making each piece truly one of a kind.
