On February 18 at 7:00 PM, you are invited to the opening of Marcel Odenbach’s exhibition
“Tranquil Motions.”

The exhibition of the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (ifa) is presented in Tbilisi in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Georgia and the Tbilisi Photo & Multimedia Museum (TPMM).

The exhibition brings together 14 works created over the past four decades and offers a comprehensive insight into the multifaceted oeuvre of Marcel Odenbach — one of Germany’s most significant contemporary video artists. The exhibition is curated by art historian Matthias Mühling, currently Director of Lenbachhaus and the Munich Art Gallery. The curated selection highlights the key themes that have shaped Odenbach’s work over many years: memory culture, collective memory, social and political conflicts, identity, and representation.
