Description

Three Days. Three Scientific Mysteries. Zero Boring Lectures.

We've got:

  • Crystals that somehow grow into perfect cubes;

  • An animal that seems to have its head and tail swapped;

  • An Ancient Greek table that's over 2,000 years old.

Now we need curious young explorers aged 8–12 to help solve these mysteries.

In the mini-course "Making Scientific Discoveries," we won't simply explain how the world works. Instead, children will investigate, experiment, and discover the answers for themselves.

Together, we'll:

  • Build hypotheses;

  • Debate ideas;

  • Test our theories;

  • Make mistakes;

  • Try again;

  • And keep experimenting.

Because science doesn't begin with the words "Remember the correct answer." It begins with the question:

"Wait... what's actually going on here?"

No prior knowledge is required, and a love of school science isn't necessary either. All that's needed is curiosity and the willingness to explore the unknown.

Location

Batumi

The port city and Black Sea resort of Batumi is the capital of the Georgian Republic of Adjara. The Batumi Boulevard runs along the seafront, a park, and a beach. The 130-meter-high Alphabet Tower, featuring inscriptions in the Georgian script, houses an observation deck with stunning sea views. In the Old Town, you can see many reconstructed 19th-century buildings. In the northern part of Batumi lies the botanical garden, home to plants from around the world.
