Format: Masterclass "The Story of Theatre" for children
Groups: Minimum 10, maximum 20 children
Age groups: 6–8 years and 9–11 years
"The Story of Theatre" is a 1-hour adventure where children will learn:
What happens in a theatre
How performances are prepared
What the stage and backstage areas look like
How actors and makeup artists work
Who works behind the scenes
What theatre equipment is used and why
What visual language in theatre means
Why theatre is called a magical world
Children will breathe in the "dust of the stage", try on wigs, and discover backstage secrets unknown to those who haven’t taken this tour!
The tour includes:
Welcome and exploration of the theatre foyer
Backstage tour (makeup rooms, costume department, dressing rooms)
Discovering the stage and the audience hall
Introduction to lighting and sound equipment
And if you’re lucky — a sneak peek at a rehearsal as a special bonus!
The tour is designed for children aged 6 to 11.
