💡 On April 2, the Academy of Thinking will host a salon-style discussion with Dr. of Philology and philosopher Anna Kiria dedicated to Guram Dochanashvili’s short story “The Man Who Loved Literature Very Much.”
The discussion is based on Dochanashvili’s well-known story of the same name, which holds a special place in Georgian literature due to its strong emotional and philosophical depth. For many generations, it has become one of the symbols of a deep love for literature.
During the lecture, the conversation will explore both the personality and creative world of Guram Dochanashvili, as well as different interpretations of the story.
The meeting aims to reflect on the role of literature in human life:
why books matter, how a love for literature is born, and how it can be shared with others.
This gathering will serve as a tribute not only to Dochanashvili but also to literature itself, and to everyone for whom reading is an essential part of life.
🍰 Guests will enjoy a light buffet and a welcoming atmosphere.
Duration: 2–3 hours.
