💡 The Academy of Thinking presents a three-part discussion series titled “Different Perspectives”, dedicated to the topic of the existential crisis of personality.
The sessions will be led by psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Rezo Korinteli and Orthodox priest Theodore Gignadze.
Father Theodore Gignadze will explore existential crisis from a Christian perspective.
Topics include:
• Human freedom
• The meaning of suffering
• Crisis of faith
• Christian approaches to discovering purpose and meaning in life
Psychoanalyst Rezo Korinteli will discuss existential crisis through the lens of depth psychology.
Topics include:
• The unconscious mind
• Inner conflicts
• Identity crisis
• The concept of the Shadow
• Psychological processes underlying life crises
A joint session featuring both speakers.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore how Christian thought and depth psychology address the same existential questions, where their perspectives intersect, and where their interpretations differ.
