On Wednesday, poet, writer and journalist Tatyana Voltskaya will present her book “The Absence Effect,” published by the Israeli publishing house Book Sefer. It includes a large part of Tatyana Voltskaya’s Georgian Notebook, which she has been keeping since the beginning of her move from St. Petersburg to Georgia. We can say that this is the first modern book about the experience of emigration, the feeling of guilt due to belonging to a country that launched a terrible war against Ukraine, and at the same time - homesickness. But the main event of the book is the discovery of Georgia, the view of a person who sees everything in this country for the first time
