💡 On October 23, the Academy of Thinking will host a salon-style conversation with systemic constellation therapist Moksha Feikar on the topic: “Systemic Constellations and Self-Care” (body, emotions, and inner balance).
➡ Why is it that sometimes we know exactly what we need, yet still cannot give ourselves permission to have it? Why is it difficult to say “no,” accept help, or prioritize our own needs? Why does caring for others often feel much easier than caring for ourselves?
➡ Each of us is part of a family, relationships, and other systems. The connections, roles, and hidden loyalties formed within these systems can influence how freely we are able to care for ourselves. We often take on more responsibility than truly belongs to us and perceive protecting our own needs as selfishness or as abandoning others.
➡ Recognizing the importance of treating ourselves with kindness can help us step out of roles, circumstances, and spaces that no longer serve us — especially when we remain emotionally entangled with members of our system because of unconditional loyalty and feelings of guilt.
➡ This lecture is an invitation to develop a deeper understanding of self-care. The session will be interactive, exploring how self-care relates to family experiences, belonging, systemic loyalties, responsibility, personal boundaries, and healthy self-expression.
🍰 A buffet and a pleasant atmosphere will be provided during the event.
Duration: 2–3 hours.
