Based on John Boynton Priestley’s play "An Inspector Calls"
Georgian adaptation by Lasha Imedashvili
Directed by David Sakvarelidze
This classic play by Priestley is considered to be one of the best-known works for the stage. There are many successful film versions as well. All of this is due to the fact that it speaks about eternal values, which can be found at all times. And the most important thing: we have decided to move the time and place of the play in the period of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia to make the story, which took place in England, more understandable for Georgian spectators.
The moral dilemmas and problems we encounter in the play still exist in our modern times and our mission is to proclaim them with our production.
