The Young Diplomats Club of Georgia, in cooperation with the International Criminal Law Teaching and Research Center of Tbilisi State University and the Academician Levan Aleksidze Foundation, is organizing a scientific conference entitled:

"International Law in the 21st Century: International Order and Contemporary Challenges"

1️⃣ The role of international organizations in shaping the global political agenda.

2️⃣ The role of international law in addressing global and regional crises.

Abstract Submission Requirements

  • Font: Sylfaen
  • Font size: 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Maximum length: 250 words
  • File format: Microsoft Word

💡 All abstracts must include the research methodology.

Supervisor's Approval

A written recommendation from the applicant's academic supervisor is required, confirming that the abstract meets the conference's academic and technical standards.

Eligible supervisors include:

  • Academic staff of accredited universities;
  • Holders of a doctoral degree (or equivalent);
  • PhD candidates.

Cover Page Must Include

  • Paper title;
  • Author(s)' full name;
  • University, faculty, and current semester;
  • Email address;
  • Supervisor's name and academic position.

👥 Applications may be submitted individually or in pairs.

Students from any university are welcome to apply.

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is the oldest and largest higher education institution in Georgia. It was founded on February 8, 1918 (January 26 according to the Old Style), on the feast day of David the Builder, in Tbilisi, in the building of the former gymnasium.
On September 3 of the same year, it was officially named Tbilisi State University. At that time, it was the first and only university in the entire Caucasus.
