Solo Concert by Pianist Sandro Gegechkori — “1908 D – A 1940”

Due to overwhelming audience demand, the Great Hall of the Tbilisi State Conservatoire will once again host the solo piano concert of young pianist and multiple international competition winner Sandro Gegechkori.

The concert program “1908 D – A 1940” features:

• Sergei Rachmaninoff — Piano Sonata in D Minor (1908)
• Sergei Prokofiev — Piano Sonata in A Major (1940)

Presented in two parts, the concert brings together masterpieces created by these two legendary composers during some of the most dramatic and defining periods of their lives.
