Shakespeare in Love

An easy yet charming and colorful film about love and old England.

The year is 1594. Young playwright William Shakespeare is in a creative crisis: his muse has abandoned him, he has no money, and the theater owner demands a new play from him in the shortest time possible. And just when it seems like the writer has no hope left for finding new inspiration, an aristocrat named Viola enters his life. Disguised as a young actor, she joins the theater troupe to play the lead male role in the play "Romeo and Juliet."
