This Saturday, we invite you to a creative event.
The organizers draw inspiration from the international experience of French writing ateliers, American poetry therapy, and other forms of creative self-expression.
During the session, you can expect:
• Writing prompts from the facilitator
• Dedicated time for each exercise
• A chance to express your thoughts and emotions through words
• An opportunity to hear yourself and others
• A shared observation of the creative “alchemy” that emerges from spontaneous contact with a blank page and the birth of your own original text in a short period of time
This is not a writing workshop or a literary club, although we will occasionally work with texts created by poets, writers, philosophers, and playwrights — and we will write and discuss our own texts as well.
The goal is not to create a finished literary work.
Anyone can participate — no writing experience is required.
It is important to understand that this is not a therapeutic group using writing practices.
However, like any creative process, it may have a therapeutic effect.
Come and join us — perhaps “Self-Writing Studio” is exactly what you need right now.
The session will be led by a psychotherapist.
The format also allows every participant to become a co-facilitator and share the idea of “Self-Writing Studio” in different formats.
