On Saturday, we invite you to a creative event. The organizers draw on international experience, including French writing ateliers, American poetry therapy, and other forms of creative self-expression.
You will receive prompts from the facilitator, have dedicated time to complete them, and gain the opportunity to express your thoughts and emotions through words, to hear yourself and others, and to collectively observe the result of this alchemy — the spontaneous encounter with a blank page and the birth of your own original text in a short time.
This is not a writing workshop or a literary club, although we will occasionally refer to works by poets, writers, philosophers, and playwrights — and we will write and discuss texts ourselves. The goal is not to produce a finished literary work.
Anyone can participate — no writing experience is required.
It is important to understand that this is not a therapeutic group using writing practices. However, like any creative process, it may have a therapeutic effect.
Come — perhaps the “Self-Writing Studio” is exactly what you need right now.
The session will be led by a psychotherapist. The format allows each participant to become a co-facilitator and to spread the idea of the “Self-Writing Studio” in various formats.
