School of Effective Communication

Interpersonal skills can be learned just like any other skill. We invite you to develop them together in a supportive and safe environment.

We are opening enrollment for a therapeutic group based on the CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) approach — with a structured program, assignments, and workbooks for practical exercises.

This course is suitable for those who want to improve relationships, learn to say “no,” resolve conflicts, and build closeness without losing themselves.

Each session will include one hour of theory (interactive lectures where everyone can share opinions, exchange experiences, and ask questions) and one hour of practical exercises.

Each meeting focuses on one stage of the contact cycle:

• First meeting: Getting acquainted — March 26
How to introduce yourself and understand others? What difficulties arise in this process? How can we better understand each other at the beginning?

• Second meeting: Closeness and intimacy — April 9
What challenges arise in close relationships and how can communication skills help? How to make direct requests and say no? How to create and maintain agreements? What is a behavioral contract and why is it useful?

• Third meeting: Conflict studies and rules of conscious communication — April 23
Types of reactions in conflict. How can conflict strengthen relationships? What is assertive communication?

• Fourth meeting: Ending relationships — May 7
Release or loss? How to end both long and short relationships in a healthy way? Where does ghosting come from and how can we deal with it?

• Fifth and sixth meetings: Therapeutic groups with case discussions — practice only, May 21 and June 4
