On April 16, you will meet Salome Benidze, a modern Georgian writer and translator, at "School of Hands" to talk about her new book, "Maro". Maro Makashvili was the first woman who sacrificed herself for the occupation of Georgia by Bolshevik Russia, and she is also the first woman to be awarded the title of National Hero of Georgia.
In 2012, Salome Benidze was awarded the "Best Debut" Saba nomination (report card for the collection, Intellect publishing house). Salome will talk about the history of the creation of the book and what stories were the basis for the publication. During the conversation about Maro, it will be possible to discuss the character of the book and share opinions.
