The skier-architect himself, together with his friends and colleagues, was a participant and coach in the establishment of the first mountain-skiing school in Georgia in 1984. And later, since 1997, the founder of the mountain-ski school "Dimes". He was the educator of several generations of professional and amateur skiers.
His disciples still remember the role of Dima Teacher in their personal development. Dima was the "starter" of many competitions and professional tournaments held in Gudauri.
