The exhibition presents works on paper of recent years. This is the first solo exhibition of the artist. The artist lives and works in Tbilisi. Ruso Gigashvili was born in 1980 in Tbilisi. As a teenager she studied at an art school. From 1997 to 2003 she studied at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts at the graphic arts department. At the Academy she mainly worked in the technique of cardboard engraving.

During her studies she became friends with Tutu Kiladze and Tinatin Chkhikvishvili. Several times Ruso took part in activities at the art villa "GARIKULA", painting the walls and ceiling of the residence.

After graduating from the Academy, she actually stopped doing art for several years. In 2015 she returned to graphic arts and also took up painting.
In 2017, together with Tutu Kiladze, Masha Ivanova and Alexander Florensky, she participated in a plеin air trip to Batumi.

In 2018, together with Tutu Kiladze, she worked in the art residence "ARTELI RATCHA". She worked in silkscreen technique for participation in the art festival "LIFE-N-STYLE". Currently she is teaching art with children in the art workshop "GILI".
