We were planning to hold the role-playing game “Stolen Sun” at the tent camp “Territory of Freedom,” but the weather disrupted our plans. Still, we are fired up to see it through! This Saturday, we’re inviting everyone to join us near Tbilisi on Arsenal Hill.
The universe of our game is a world of eternal night, where people are trying to light up the sky again. Many years ago, Earth was swallowed by darkness. It consumed everything people once saw as eternal — their faith, hope, and joy. As they wandered through the dark, people lost friends and loved ones, stopped recognizing each other, disappeared and died without help and without being found.
Countries and cities vanished. The few survivors formed tribes and roamed the abandoned world, hoping to find something in the ruins that would help them survive.
Over time, people learned to light fires. The fire couldn’t defeat the darkness or replace the lost sun, but it could briefly push back the night, illuminate a small space, and protect those nearby. Around the fire, elders told children stories about the old world and the dreadful day the sun went out. In those stories, the darkness became a monster — a giant Crocodile that swallowed the Sun. Listeners sometimes imagined they saw a monstrous shadow flicker among the dancing flames.
Hope returned. Fire became their only weapon, their power, their belief. Many came to believe that one day there would be enough light to defeat the monster and reignite the stolen sun in the sky.
In the game, we will play myth-minded characters, walk through the night forest with candles, watch shadow theater, fight, gather supplies, build shelters, and maybe — just maybe — defeat the Crocodile.
The event will begin around 8:00 PM and last until 1:00–2:00 AM.
To participate, read the rules, follow the link in our profile, complete the survey, and you’ll receive access to the group chat with other players.
Come and bring your friends!
