Description

Qvevri winemaking is the oldest Georgian tradition which comes from the ancient centuries. Museum of Qvevri and Qvevri Wine is the place where you will become a witness of these traditions, you will gain knowledge and view interesting exhibits here.

The Twins wine house in Napareuli offers a tour where you can visit a museum including 5 exhibition spaces, an eight-meter monument of the Qvevri, a cellar and the wine collection. Here you will learn information about Georgian wines and view unique photos.

While visiting it, you will travel to the world of Georgian wine traditions, where you will get to know the history and become a participant in the wine making process. The main exhibit of the museum is three 500-liter, 1/3-cut qvevries, which are covered with glass, and the visitor can observe: pressing, fermentation, self-cleaning, natural filtration, learn the wine making process.
