World Champion Belt, Georgian Champion Belt and World Boxing Legend Lennox Lewis in Tbilisi!
The Georgian Professional Boxing Union, with the support of the Tbilisi City Hall and the Ministry of Sports of Georgia, together with World Boxing Promotion and Boxing Group Promotion, is offering another world-class boxing show to Georgian boxing fans at the Sports Palace on September 26! With the participation of Georgian and world professional boxing stars and prominent leaders of boxing clubs from various cities in Georgia, the audience will see both world rating fights, as well as the draw for the Georgian Champion Belt and a 12-round fight for the World Champion Belt!
The event will be attended by world boxing legend, Olympic champion, undisputed heavyweight champion in professional boxing for many years, and outstanding boxing star Lennox Lewis, along with prominent representatives of Georgian boxing.
In the main fight of the boxing show, the young undefeated professional boxer Givi Todua will fight for the WBF middleweight world champion belt. The Georgian will face the experienced Thai boxer, world belt contender Phimir Chonkun, who, in turn, has fought for the WBC Asia champion belt twice (record 19-3). The fight will be supervised by the President of the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Howard Goldberg himself!
In the 63 kg weight category, we will see a 10-round fight for the Georgian champion belt, in which the leaders of the rating, well-known and popular fighters Levan Iankoshvili and Akaki Kakriashvili, will face each other.
The outstanding faces of Georgian boxing, experienced fighters Iago Kiziria and Irakli Alanidze, will hold 6-round world rating fights against foreign opponents.
In the 4-round rating fights, we will see the confrontations of outstanding professional boxers from Georgian boxing clubs.
