Premiere — “Little Zaches, Called Zinnober”

This unusual fairy tale revolves around a man who is ugly and foolish but, through magic, achieves great success and takes credit for the accomplishments of others.

The spell lies in three red hairs on his head — they are the source of his power. To destroy Minister Zinnober and restore peace to the land, these hairs must be burned.

The production is based on the work of E.T.A. Hoffmann and conveys a world of grotesque fantasy, irony, and allegorical storytelling.
