Description
Mid 19th century. Mute Ada, along with her little daughter and her beloved piano, leaves her native Scotland and moves to the other side of the world, to New Zealand, where her future husband Stuart is waiting for her. He refuses to deliver the piano, which remains abandoned on the shore. Ada, who has not spoken since she was six, still shows her husband the depth of her anger. For this strong woman, silence is far from a sign of consent.
