Paper-Making Workshop

We invite you to a paper-making workshop, which will take place at the Niavi publishing house studio in Avlabari, Tbilisi.

The workshop will be led by artists and micro-publishers Maria and Fyodor Ovchinnikov — founders of Niavi, a handmade book publishing house. Their books fit in the palm of your hand, and each is a work of art. The content varies widely: from the Georgian alphabet to anti-war poetry. They handcraft their own paper and cardboard for every book.

During the workshop, you’ll go through every stage of paper-making — and create your very own sheet from scratch.
