One-Year Educational & Therapeutic Art Therapy Course

The National Psychotherapy Umbrella Organization (NUO) — Georgian Federation of Psychotherapy “Dendroni”announces enrollment for a one-year certified educational and therapeutic art therapy course.

🔴 Art therapy is a method that uses creative components to work through life challenges.
🟡 Art therapy techniques are suitable for clients of all ages and abilities.

👉 The Dendroni-based program consists of 8 educational modules plus group therapy, enabling participants to grow professionally while also addressing personal challenges—essential for ethical and effective client work.

🎯 Course objective: to teach innovative and effective art therapy techniques, develop practical skills, and enhance professional practice.

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

• purposefully apply art therapy techniques and exercises in practice;

• select appropriate exercises based on client needs and interpret outcomes;

• maintain ethical and effective communication with clients, others, and themselves;

• identify and work through personal life difficulties in a timely manner;

• ensure psycho-ecology throughout the therapeutic process.

Modules

• Modules I–III: Foundations and innovative directions of art therapy

• Modules IV–V: Systemic family art therapy

• Module VI: Child and adolescent therapy (art-therapeutic methods)

• Module VII: Art coaching

• Module VIII: Psychological counseling and art therapy approaches

Group Therapy

After each module, participants attend a group therapy session focused on personal processing and learning integration, led by local experts holding ECIP (European Certificate Integrative Psychotherapy).

Format & Schedule

• In-person sessions at the office

• Online attendance available only for participants living abroad/regions or with objective constraints

• Every Friday, 6:30–9:30 PM

Course Load

• Art therapy techniques — 128 academic hours

• Group therapy — 32 academic hours

• Language of instruction — Georgian

• Graduates receive a bilingual (Georgian–English) certificate

Mariam Gochadze — psychotherapist; European-certified specialist (ECP; ECIP); MSc in Clinical Psychology; certified trainer; coordinator of Dendroni educational programs.

💲 Tuition:

• Full course — GEL 4,200

• Monthly — GEL 350 (12 months)
