Nosferatu the Vampyre

Reinterpreting the classic of German Expressionism by a director for whom even Dracula is slightly awkward and evokes more melancholy than horror.

Sent to Transylvania to negotiate the purchase of a house with Count Dracula, Jonathan Harker leaves his idyllic hometown, ignoring the ominous signs from his young wife Lucy. Upon arriving at the Count's castle, Harker signs all the necessary papers, carelessly dropping a locket with a photo of his beloved. Soon, he finds himself trapped, and enticed by the appetizing pale beauty, Dracula descends from the mountains to meet her, bringing along death and plague.
