Description

On March 18 at 20:00, we are delighted to host a workshop by Levan Shanshiashvili:
“Music of Plants (Bio-electrical Impulse Music)”.

Workshop description

Participants will explore how plants generate bioelectrical impulses and how these signals are translated, transformed, and converted into audible sound frequencies. The workshop will also discuss the importance of plant-generated electrical impulses for both nature and humans.

Positive effects:

  • stress reduction;

  • increased productivity;

  • enhanced creativity and cognitive engagement;

  • educational opportunities;

  • care for the environment and the world around us.

Impact on nature:

  • plant frequencies as a healing force;

  • interaction with pests through harmonization;

  • stimulation of growth and development;

  • integration of plants, technology, and human potential.

Music becomes a form of self-expression — another universal language understood by all living organisms.

Interaction with plants is presented as a process that helps us live more consciously and develop a deeper connection with the world.

AGAVA is an experimental modular synthesizer project focused exclusively on live performances. The project rejects the idea of recordings and instead creates a unique sonic experience, demonstrating that no two performances are ever the same.

During performances, AGAVA allows the audience to fully immerse themselves in the music and deeply experience the energy of every sound. Its dedication to natural expression and creativity turns each performance into a special event, inviting listeners into an extraordinary musical journey.

Through the selection of elements, resonance, sound textures, noise, experimentation, and improvisation, AGAVA offers a deeply meditative sonic experience that stays with the listener long after the performance ends.

Location

Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of around 1.2 million people. Tbilisi was founded in the fifth century AD by Vakhtang I of Iberia, and since then has served as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics. Because of its location at the crossroads between Europe and Asia, and its proximity to the lucrative Silk Road, throughout history, Tbilisi has been a point of contention among various global powers. To this day, the city's location ensures its position as an important transit route for energy and trade projects. Tbilisi's history is reflected in its architecture, which is a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Stalinist, and Modern structures. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though its population is overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian.
