“Mother of Kartli” is a choreographic performance — a collective story told through the bodies of six women.
It is the inner world of a woman translated into movement — a space where strength and vulnerability coexist, where longing and anticipation, love, pain, silence, and resilience live side by side.
The performance does not portray one woman. Instead, it brings together multiple identities and states of being: the mother, the daughter, the warrior, the lover, the lost soul, the woman in prayer. Together, the six women on stage form one unified body — “Mother of Kartli.”
The choreographic language of the performance emerges between contemporary movement and the Georgian spirit. Each gesture carries an invisible story, each touch becomes an extension of emotion.
“Mother of Kartli” is a story about a woman who, despite the storms within her, continues to stand — proud, silent, and unwavering. She does not lose her tenderness or grace. Even in the hardest moments, she finds within herself the strength to become a home, a root, and a light.
