An adventurous, deeply touching, childlike-adult, and very unconventional performance. Over 15 years ago, Ilya Neboslov began creating audio plays and theatrical adaptations of Tove Jansson’s Moomin stories. Over the years, each of the lovable inhabitants of Moominvalley has found its own voice and its own songs.

“Moomintroll and the Comet” is a story about adventures and dangers, about friendship and the feeling of family, about funny, kind, absurd, cowardly, silly, and different creatures — all very charming. It’s also about true love itself. Ilya has preserved all the best from Tove Jansson’s books with great care, gifting them with the most precious thing he has: music and creative enthusiasm.

You have the opportunity to see the "director's version" of the story, as Ilya will perform the play solo, transforming and changing voices right before the audience's eyes.
