Description

A process in which memory becomes a construction where the real and the imagined intertwine…
On Friday, February 20 at 7:00 PM, a new exhibition by Nini Razmadze, “Mnemonic,” opens at Cube.

“My works are an attempt to give form to what I cannot fully remember. They emerge from the feeling of childhood recollection breaking off, leaving a void in memory. It is precisely in this fragmented space that the search begins — not for answers, but for fragments.

The works are not based on specific memories. Rather, they result from stories, voices, and images that later formed through others’ narratives, environmental influences, or my own interpretations. In this process, memory becomes a construction where the real and the imagined blend together.

Painting, for me, is a way of connecting to a past I no longer directly remember. Each piece is an attempt to fill a void — though never to complete it. This process is more about searching than restoring; more about questioning than answering.”

Admission is free!

“Cube in Context,” located in Mziuri Park, is a social enterprise created through the reconstruction of a former Soviet cable car station. The space combines a contemporary art gallery, a media library, a non-formal education platform, a coffee point, a gift shop, and a coworking area.

Our social enterprise operates entirely through self-funding. Every lari earned supports public cultural projects, charitable initiatives, and the creative development of the space.

On foot: walk down from Chavchavadze Avenue to the skate park.
By car: access the park via two routes:
31 Nino Ramishvili Street (near the police station)
6 Chabua Amirejibi Street (near the Rugby Federation).

See you at Cube!
