The Royal District Theater presents the first production of the most famous Norwegian playwright after Ibsen, Jun Fosse, in Georgia. Yun Fosse is one of the most frequently staged authors on the European stage. His plays, novels, poetry, essays and children's books have been translated into more than forty languages. In 2010, he became the owner of the prestigious "International Ibsen Prize".
On the play:
A young man lives in a small, peaceful village with his mother and his beloved dog. His life changes radically when one day, the dog runs away from home and never returns. Nothing like this has happened before. Yun Fosse's drama full of bitter irony takes us through the strange ways of human relationships, where estranged family members get to know each other anew.
