Metro

The performance offers a portrait of contemporary Georgian society through just three characters — two men and one woman — confined within the enclosed space of the metro.

The circular metro line, envisioned as a metaphor for the cycle of life, becomes the backdrop for exploring some of society’s fundamental problems. The loss of trust, superficiality, alienation, and the performative perfection and falseness associated with social media all stand in the way of one of our most basic human needs: to talk to another person, share our experiences, and receive empathy.

Told through satire and irony, the story gradually takes on the form of theatrical absurdism.

What the audience will witness on stage, brought to life by the director and performers, is a bold experiment capable of provoking both laughter and tears.

The intimacy of the small auditorium makes this experience possible, creating a unique closeness and connection between the performers and the audience.
