💡 On September 29, the Academy of Thinking will host a salon-style discussion with Archpriest Teodore Gignadzeon the topic “Metamorphosis in Christian Life.”
The lecture explores the meaning of personal transformation within the Christian worldview and the process without which neither personal nor spiritual development can fully take place.
The discussion will examine what it means to develop beyond the limits of one’s own nature, how metamorphosis is connected to becoming a fully formed person, and why, without inner transformation, an individual may remain confined within the boundaries of individualism and egocentrism.
Special attention will be given to the Christian understanding of metamorphosis, the significance of the Transfiguration, and the ultimate purpose of spiritual transformation — knowing God, participating in His energies, and striving for greater closeness to Him.
🍰 A buffet and a welcoming atmosphere will be provided during the event.
⏳ Duration: 2–3 hours.
