1. Tamuna Chabashvili The Traveling Tales: Spinning Between Intervals, Weaving Light

Artist Tamuna Chabashvili will guide visitors through her exhibition that reflects on archival research, textile, memory, and vulnerability. The tour and Tamuna’s artistic talk will invite the audience to engage with the conceptual layers embedded in her installation.
2. Performative Reading: Taxonomies of Power – Photographic Encounters at the State Silk Museum, co-curated by Alaina Claire Feldman and Mariam Shergelashvili

Museum exhibition curator Mariam Shergelashvili and her team of interns present a collective performative reading around the exhibition “Taxonomies of Power Photographic Encounters at the State Silk Museum” that represents early 20th-century microscopic glass plate negatives of silkworm biology.
The reading performance includes selected excerpts from the same titled book published in conjunction with the show, as well as new reflections and observations around the exhibition theme.
Participants: Mariam Shergelashvili, Mari Babaevi, Nini Mosiava, and Liza Kalandia.
