Live Presentation of Papuna Sharikadze and Khondze's Album "First of Many" at Leno Records

New York-based Georgian musicians - pianist Papuna Sharikadze and alto saxophonist Khondzi - will present their debut album on Leno Records. The album was recorded in New York in April 2024 and was officially released on all streaming platforms on July 9. It includes 10 original instrumental pieces, specially rearranged for the piano and alto saxophone duet.

This project is not only a fusion of the aesthetics of jazz, classical music, Georgian folklore and spiritual music, but also a cozy and intimate improvisational dialogue - a sincere, soulful and profound meeting of two instruments, which becomes a new emotional experience for each listener.

The evening will be opened by guitarist Gigi Tsintsadze with a solo performance. Gigi will bring unique Georgian polyphony to life in an even more incomparable way. He is particularly fond of three-part Gurian songs and hymns, which will debut at 6:00 PM.
