LICHT GALLERY opens ‘TBILISIS INTERIEREBI’

On July 4th at 19:00, LICHT GALLERY opens ‘TBILISIS INTERIEREBI’, an exhibition of the contemporary artist Stepan Brand.

Stepan Brand was born in 1989 in Moscow into a family of a painter and a musician.

From 2006 to 2011 he studied translation and interpretation at Moscow State Linguistic University.

Stepan started drawing in 2014 and is a self-taught artist.

Influenced by: Irina Vassilieva (St. Petersburg), Olga and Alexander Florensky (St. Petersburg), Anatoly Dashkeev (Putivl, Ukraine), Yevgeny Skrynnikov (Moscow).

Besides drawing interior spaces, cityscapes, still lifes and people, Stepan has created five self-made books portraying residential buildings of Moscow, Tashkent, Tbilisi and Yerevan.

Since 2022 he has been living and working in Tashkent, Yerevan and Tbilisi.

The exhibition opens on the 4th of July at 19:00 and will run until the 4th of August.

LICHT GALLERY is open daily from 16:00 to 20:00, except Monday.
