LICHT GALLERY opens ‘TBILISIS INTERIEREBI’

"TBILISIS INTERIEREBI" — Exhibition by Stepan Brand

On July 4 at 7:00 PM, LICHT GALLERY presents "TBILISIS INTERIEREBI," a new exhibition by contemporary artist Stepan Brand.

Born in Moscow in 1989 into a family of a painter and a musician, Stepan Brand studied Translation and Interpretation at Moscow State Linguistic University between 2006 and 2011.

A self-taught artist, he began drawing in 2014. His work has been influenced by Irina Vassilieva, Olga and Alexander Florensky, Anatoly Dashkeev, and Yevgeny Skrynnikov.

Alongside his drawings of interiors, cityscapes, still lifes, and people, Brand has created five self-published books documenting residential architecture in Moscow, Tashkent, Tbilisi, and Yerevan.

Since 2022, he has been living and working between Tashkent, Yerevan, and Tbilisi.
