Description

The Law Academy announces registration for the training course
“Legal English — Theory and Practical Skills.”

The Legal English course is designed for lawyers who wish to acquire a high level of language competence and enhance their employment opportunities. The course offered by the Law Academy is unique, as it is based on a synthesis of theory and practice.

The first part of the course covers a theoretical component, during which participants will master widely used legal English terminology and develop the language skills necessary for professional communication. The second part of the course is practical and provides participants with the opportunity to work with real legal documents and take part in practical simulations, including client consultations, negotiations, and contract drafting.

The course is led by experienced lecturers Tami Goshadze and Mariam Beridze.

The course will start on February 17 and will last 16 weeks.
Classes will be held twice a week, for a total of 32 sessions.
The format is online via Zoom, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

To participate in the course, applicants must have at least a B1 level of English, which can be confirmed by a certificate, a university transcript, or an interview with the Law Academy’s English language instructor. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate.

Tickets can be purchased until February 14 inclusive.
The total course fee is 1,920 GEL.
